The Frierdich - Staley Clan page is an ongoing process. It is going to be a joint project between the members of my Frierdich family and my husband's family, the Staley's.

The Frierdich ancestors settled in the beautiful valleys of Columbia, Illinois starting around the mid 1700's. It is a large and boisterous family, one full of unique individuals, proud and determined.

My search has led me as far back as John Adam Frierdich from Dedersheim, Germany, who married Anna Maria (?). Their child Heinrich, born in 1753 m. Barbara Schellhorn - from their seven children, my immediate lines stems from Matthew Frierdich and comes down thru my father, Ronald Russell Frierdich.  My father, Ronald married John and Edna Michael's youngest daughter (one of 9), Veronica.  I am the oldest of 6 children, myself, Pamela, Karen, Donna, Ronald Jr., Steven and Michelle.  My parents are the proud grandparents of twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren!

Who Am I:

Pamela Marie Frierdich, married to James Edgar Staley, Jr. - going on 35 years now - the marriage that is - I'm ..well, let's just say I'm heading towards those double nickels pretty quickly! We have two sons, James III and Jason Scott. Both boys are married and we have 5 beautiful granddaughters. I am also:

• a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend

• an artist, designer, holistic wannabe, essential oil and organic foods searcher

• someone who loves biblical research, archeology, horses and books.
